Many have asked how I like my job. Well, all I can say is I am thankful I have a job. Today's job market is so tough that when your resume just doesn't pop then you are sometimes forced to do things you don't like. I will try to learn as much as I can and hopefully it will eventually lead to something I really like. My philosophy now is "IT IS WHAT IT IS!"
Still no word on Ray's SS. They did call to verify they had the right address so I am hoping that means we will hear something soon.

I have been trying to keep my mind busy lately. I would really like to scrap book but their isn't any room here for all my stuff and I can't find anyone who would like to get together and scrap book. So I had to find something else to do. So what does every prim woman like to do? You got it go to the GW and TS. I have been going on Saturdays looking for some things to redo. I have bought a few things but now I need to finish them. I have them painted and now I need to prim them up. Here are my latest purchases. My next post I hope to have completed pictures.

Donna,
I totally agree with you! I've thought about that often. If I were to have to go to work these days, I would have a big, big gap of years not working outside the home, although I have kept up typing skills and such as well as teaching piano. But it should count for more than it does! After all we are contributing well rounded, loving children to the world, right?????
You have some great pieces to makeover! Good for you! I love everything!
Hugs,
Tammy
You have some really neat pieces to make over. I can't wait to see them. Primming them up will help cheer you and relieve some of your stress. That is the best thing about this crafting of ours. Take care.

I am in total agreement with you.
I believe that employers think that when you stay home to raise a family, your brain turns to mush!
It is the most important job in the world...raising your children and being here when they need you!
I feel very strongly about this...so I will get off my soap box before I rant too much! LOL
Great finds you have there. I see several that you and I both have. I am looking forward to seeing what you decide to do with yours.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Donna~ I did not work when I had my son till up to when he was 11, I know exactly what you mean! You learn so much by running a home and taking care of little ones, it is a shame you can't benefit from it work wise! Hang in there with the job, eventually something better will come, I keep telling myself that:)Great finds you got too, I love the little toolbox thingie?!
Donna, you are so right! I worked very hard to bring my children up to be responsible adults, to handle the household money and to "do everything at home" cause hubby ran a business. I agree with you!
You sound so much better. All of our prayers must be helping.
I love your TS finds. Interesting!
Susannah
Love all your TS and GW finds and can't wait to see how you redo them!
I think a Mom Job is the most important job in the world but sadly someone who is career minded calls the shots!!!
Have a great Monday!

Donna,
I missed your post when it was originally published. I just happened to be going through my blogs that I follow on my dashboard and found it....
I totally agree with you! I have been a SAHM for 10 years...10 years! That's longer than many people stay at a job in this day and age. I have learned sooo much by being a Mom and anyone who says I have no job experience from it, is insane! I think we SAHM's could really benefit a company because think of all of the situations we've been put in over the years and made it through?
I can't wait to see the makeovers...maybe you have some done today for Whatcha Working on Wednesday??? It's great to see that you're finding something to keep you busy!
Have a great day :)
Leslie
I know what you mean about staying home...when I went back to work and had to fill out my application it looked like I was lazy for 3 years...oh if they only know. LOL
