Hello All

Wow it's been forever since I last posted. I don't get to read and post like I used to but I try to stop in when I can. Since my last post I have been back to the river and I finished my scrapbook for 2007. I was determined to finish and let me tell you lack of sleep this past weekend has gotten the best of me BUT I finished. Now to catch up and do 2008 and 2009.

I can't believe it's been 6 months since we had to move into my Mom's. Can I say I am thankful and grateful but it's been a long 6 months. I keep hoping and praying that we can still move before the holidays not sure I can pull it off but we are still praying. Still no word on Ray's SS. All they say when he calls or goes in person is it is still pending.

I have been on my job now almost 5 months and I never thought I would make it. I still don't like my job but I am just thankful to have one. I am hoping when my six months comes around I can post out into another department. Which will mean no phones hopefully and more money!

Several have asked about Eleni. She is doing as well as to be expected for a 16 year old. She has her days where she knows there is a light at the end of the tunnel. She has managed to keep her grades up and goes to school everyday. It's very hard for her she misses her room and her things. I am blessed to have such great understanding girls.

I am looking forward to seeing upcoming Christmas pictures of every one's home.

Donna,

You have to be so tired of hearing the word pending! I keep praying that you'll soon have your own place! Glad to hear Eleni is doing okay!

Did you get my last email?

Have a great weekend!

Good morning Donna, good to see you here.
I know your time is precious to you and that there's so much for you to do and not being in your own home makes it worse.
I know things will get back to a 'sort of normal' for you and your family - just hang in there and keep faith.
Bless you all,
Karen

Hi Donna :)
Glad to see ya!
Eleni is such a great girl...I know it's gotta be hard for you all...and though being with your mom is wonderful, I know how much ya want to be in your own place...and especially with the holidays approaching. You are in my prayers. Hang in there...

I had been wondering about you. I am so glad you posted. Isn't there a congressman or congresswoman you could write to help you with the SS? I don't know what we would of done without Congresswoman Emerson. I truly believe her push helped us.

I just started scrapbooking again. I wish I had you around here to do it with. I need someone to help encourage and give me ideas.

Prayers are with you still... I KNOW he has something in the works for your family. *big hugs*

Take Care,
Debbie

Hi Donna,

I agree - it was so good to hear from you. I am sorry PENDING is still the word. I pray you hear APPROVED very very soon. And I will keep my fingers crossed that you can move into a new position at work and then your own home in time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

hugs, Linda

Dec.23......Hi Donna, just wanted to stop over and wish you and your family a Merry Christmas! I think of you often and keep you all in my prayers, isnt it strange how God works sometimes? You looked so long for a job, and here I am now forced by my back to give up a job that I loved! I guess it's not for us to question. ((hugs)) Carmen
