Ok here is another update. I think I've had enough already. Ray just can not keep a job. Some because of the economy and some because of his health. We went to Social Security today to reapply for disability for him. He has a Dr.'s appointment Monday in the renal clinic. We need to talk to his doctor about agreeing this would be in his best interest. I know in my heart he would be better off not working no matter how bad we need the money right now. I would think after 2 kidney transplants and a quadruple bypass he should be qualified.
I am still hoping for a letter to receive an extension on my unemployment. I feel like I could just throw in the towel but I'm very hopeful everything is going to work out. Thanks for your comments they really help more than you know. A kind word goes a long way. Thanks to all of your blogs for helping me forget my problems a little each day. I have to admit I'm a little jealous I so want to tweak or redo something.

Donna, I pray that Ray can get onto diability..he does sound to be a good candidate. When the doc fills out paper work to mail in...be sure "all the blanks are filled in" or they reject you ..no second chances I was told..My son's doc left a couple spaces not filled in and they threw the application into the waste basket. ..we found this out with my son, until I got the government to settle for two more opinions....which wasn't easy...so all the blanks have to be filled in..sounds mundane...but will save you headaches later on. Anytime you deal with the government...excpect delays etc... once you are in..all will be good..
If Ray doesn't qualify, who should? My word! I am praying you get the proper documentation you need Donna. Please keep us posted!
hugs Linda
Things will get better!
I know how reading people's blog posts makes me feel. It is like a kind of therapy!
I will still be praying that some goods news comes your way soon!
I'll pray that he gets this!
Donna don't give up here. Things will improve. I know it seems like there are no answers in site but try and stay strong and keep praying. I will keep Ray in my prayers for both his health and his disability approval. God bless and keep you both.
Hugs,
AMY
If your Ray dosen't qualify, who does?! I'll be thinking and praying for you both that this will go through for him! I know it can be a long process, my brother in law had a stroke 4 years ago and was not able to work or drive anymore. He applied for it and passed on from a heart attack waiting for an answer, so sad how our government works these days! I know what you mean about the blogs too, I have met so many nice, kind people in blogland, sometimes wish I had more of them in my "real" life, lol! Hang in there girl, we all love ya :)
Donna,
Don't give up girl. Wendell is going on his third try at getting his disability. Its aggrivating on how some who aren't as bad can get it without hardly trying and then others who obviously deserve it have to fight for it. You and Ray are in my prayers. It will get better! *hugs*
Debbie
It's worth a huge try! Sounds like he certainly deserves it. You hang in there. Better days are coming.
Hi Donna,
Surely Ray will qualify for his disability. With all of his health history should give him an ideal chance. I hope and pray that God will give you all strength and peace of mind to get through all of this.
You just hang in there. There are a lot of us in blog land that are pulling and praying for you.
Blessings,
Gigi
Donna,
I just emailed you! Of course, Ray deserves to be on disability. That's what it was created for...people that really need it and he definitely qualifies!
You know I'm praying for you all here! :)
Tammy
