Week 1

It's been a week now and I am so bored. Everything I own is in storage except for a few clothes and our TV. I get tired of watching TV and I'm not much on reading. Thank goodness my Mom has internet so I can read your blogs.

My unemployment runs out this week. I am hoping I qualify for an extension although I would rather have a job! The sooner I find a job the sooner I can look for my own place again. Ray is looking now but we really need to incomes to make it these days.

After Church yesterday we rode to the local GW. No luck at all. I seen a few things I might could redo but they were entirely to high. I was so disappointed because I was looking for something to work on. I may try back another day.

I wish I had something fun and exciting to share but I don't. As I said earlier thank goodness for your blogs. Thanks for all of your sweet and kind comments. I know something good is coming but I have to be patient. I hope to check back in soon.

Donna

I sure know what you are going thur...for almost a year I lived at my sisters in one room ...all my furniture and Christmas things were in storage, I worked though, retail so I only slept there. Mom passed away and I finally found an apartment and with my sons help we lived there for 5 years:) I guess it is just in His time not ours. I'll be thinking of you!

I am so sorry for all this that you are going through. I pray things will get better for you soon! Since you have extra time...could you pick up a hobby like knitting or crocheting or doing something you haven't had the time to before? xoxo

Donna~ Your strength through all of this is bound to be inspiring to alot of people, I'm not sure I could be so strong, I really admire you! Do you do any crafts that you could sell on etsy or consignment? That would be something to keep your mind busy until the new job comes? I know what you mean about the blogs...WAY MORE interesting than whats on TV these days:)I don't watch much at all and forget the news...way too depressing!

Hi Donna,

I know it isn't the same but when I quit my job, I needed to get out of the house. In addition to my chem o angel work for several months I did volunteer work in the age center - just administrative stuff and it really helped to get me out of the house and with people again. Maybe you can find something in your area so you have some time out of the house.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

hugs, Linda

Donna,
You and Ray are in my prayers. Is there some little project you can find to work on ~ stitching or something. Wishing you the best.

*big hugs* Have you thought about going back to school??? Are there any programs there that offer assistance? I lucked out with my schooling and luckily qualified for a pell grant that helped with the bills along the way.

You and your family are in my prayers. Take care and know I'm around if you ever need a shoulder.

Dear, you just have to keep yourself as busy as possible even though nothing looks interesting right now. Go visit a friend, visit the elderly of your church....I don't know everything but when I get down????.....I just have to be with people and try to laugh. Still praying for you.

Hang in there, Donna! Like Katy said about a hobby, do you think you would like to try stitching maybe? You really don't have to have alot of supplies or anything.

You want to know what else is good for the spirit...drop by and visit someone in the nursing home. It's amazing how that works. It always makes ME feel better!

Hugs,
Tammy
