My Two Girls

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Hello, well it's taken me awhile to get this blog started but I am happy to say this is my first entry. I started reading Tammy's blog over at http://countrygirlathome.blogspot.com/ and soon became a blog addict.
The picture is of my two beautiful daughters Jessica and Eleni. Jessica is the brunette and Eleni is the blond. I was a stay at home mom for most of their lives and I loved it. Being a Mom is by far the best job in the world. My family is very important to me. I have been married to my husband Ray for 20 years. I can honestly say the older we get the closer we get. One thing I can promise you is life here is Never So Simple.
Jessica is in her second year of college and works part time. She is going to college to become a teacher. Eleni is a freshman in high school and I think her major at this time is in boys. They may be sisters but they sure are different. Jessica is my book worm who loves to be smarter than her parents. Eleni would rather rent the movie instead of reading the book. Eleni thinks social skills are as important as grades. I have the best of both worlds.
I am recently unemployed and decided now would be the perfect time to start a blog. I spend most of my days on the computer job hunting so I decided to add a little fun to my days by starting a blog. I hope my life isn't too boring and you will continue to pop in from time to time and leave me a comment.

Donna,

Yay! I'm so glad you got your blog up and rolling! I'm so excited for you! But be warned...as addicted as you are to blog reading...the same happens with getting new posts on...sometimes I can't sleep at night thinking about what I want to say! lol!

Your girls are so pretty...they both have wonderful smiles and look so sweet! I know you must be so proud! And you're right...being a mother is by far the highest calling!

Thanks for mentioning me! I'm honored! I'm going to put you on my blog roll too!

Hugs,
Tammy

I have to comment on how proud I am of my dear cousin. You've had some great accomplishments and I loved reading your blog and viewing the pics. It's also heart-warming to hear you talk about how much you love being a mom. While that path wasn't meant for me, I respect and admire those who work everyday and go home to their second, and most important job - taking care of their family. Kudos to you! Good luck with the job hunt, and feel blessed that you have the greatest gift of all - a family.
